Features
The OSPD is equipped with two rotary meters (gearwheel sets).
In the absence of pump supply, only one rotary meter is active for emergency steering.
Under normal steering conditions, both rotary meters are active.
With the OSPD, even heavy vehicles can, in many cases, comply with regulations and be steered without the emergency pump.
Displacement ratio between normal and emergency steering ranges from 2 to 7.

The combination of compact size, light weight and low speed efficiency make the CE motor the best wheel drive motor available. To reduce overall motor length and weight, all unnecessary material was removed from the housing and the valve was placed in the face of the rotor. The pressure compensated balance plate allows the motor to maintain high volumetric efficiencies at startup and high mechanical efficiencies during running conditions. All of these features unite to make the CE Series motor 10-25% lighter and more compact than competitive designs, making it perfect for applications with strict weight and size requirements.

The OSPL has an extended maximum steering pressure up to 240 bar (P-T). It is only available in LS versions (static and dynamic). It has been developed especially for large displacement in order to minimize flow loss. It is therefore extremely suitable for large vehicles.
